Thought i'd better write a journal just so you know I didn't hitchhike a ride and immigrate to Slovenia
So what's Katie been upto? Well, things have changed pretty much big time for me. My job situation for starters. All for the better. I felt restricted creatively with my last job - i'm going to be venturing into the world of freelance photography so fingers crossed for that.I'm so excited, i'm going to see French and Saunders in my crappy neighboring seaside town of Blackpool with one of my best buds. Never thought they'd include it in the tour - believe me, if you've never been, it's a dump Don't go. Unless you're into being frequently shit on by seagulls, harassed by guys selling five hundred lighters for a pound (i'm not exaggerating at all
) or fish and chips that smell like puke and break your teeth. Ok, so maybe I am exaggerating a tad but still So aye, if you've never heard of F & S, have a gander [link] But please, get the needle and thread ready as your sides will split.I went to see Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street last week. Well yes, i'd be lying if I didn't say the initial reason I went to see it was because of the Johnny
But there's never been a crappy Burton/Depp collaboration yet in my mind so I thought i'd give it a look see. I won't give any spoilers away for those of you that don't know them. And I can say for those of you who are familiar with the storyline of the original musical, from what I hear, it's substantially different. Burton isn't exactly one to stay within the guidelines is he Don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect - there was occasionally too much singing for me but the trademark Burtonesque darkish/Victorian aesthetic really did the film justice. As always, Johnny plays a magnificent part and the twist at the end...well, I liked it. SO GO SEE IT, you won't regret it 
Katie is also a V happy bunny as my =tilq will hopefully be coming to the UK on 1st April (it better not be an April Fools darling!
lol) He'll be staying for a full 10 days which will be pure ass heaven. We did so much in just a few days in Paris so I'm imagining how much we can get done in twice that time 
I know, I know, I can't write a journal without mentioning him but what can I say? I'm a fool in lurv

Best of luck with it. As much as it can be tough at times when work isn't flooding it, it's still totally worth doing if you've got the balls to stick with it through the hard times. It's a fucking huge step, eh? I still have these moments of not entirely believing that I'm really doing this.
